Hey team!
WOAH its been a while. FOr those that know me, know how obsessed I get with sporting events and soccer is no obsession. So I could be blogging, or I could be watching my 80th hour of soccer in 3 weeks. Its true, I have not slept. ITs true, I refused to get out of bed when team USA was defeated. Its true, I was in distress when Team Deutschland was knocked out. BUt 2 of my favorite players (v.Persie and Fabregas) play against eachother in the final, and I am stoked to see them.
This summer has been fun and its just going to get better. I went to Carribean Bay, Korea's largest water park, which was great fun. THere was nothing overly special about it, but it was still nice to hang out, go on some rides and do normal summer time activities.
I went down to the Han River to watch the Korea Uruguay game with HEAPS of koreans. THousands. We got there at 6pm for an 11pm game and were entertained by concerts from some of Korea's superstars, but I didn't really know the difference, save for a few. That was fun. Korea did loose, but being surrounded by thousands of Koreans when they scored was epic.
The fourth of July was specatcualar, although not as great as if I was laying in New London with my family and friends, enjoying beach tasties and having an all in all great time. We did do a boat crusise of the Han with unlimited decent beer, and needless to say, that night was fun. It was cool to see Seoul from that viewpoint, but did prove how nasty the river and how un pretty of a city seoul is. IT was nice to be on a boat with foreigners and friends drinking and hanging out on a fantastic weekend.
Next weekend;WORLDCUP. Weekend after:MUDFEST. Weekend after:BALI WITH DUGS
Patience, Faith, and some fun,
ErinJ
